In magnificent Santorini, there is Perissa Village of Santorini which is very famous for the black beach. Only 300 m from the beautiful Perissa beach, Marianna Hotel is looking forward to welcoming you and wishing you a pleasant stay and nice holiday in Santorini.
Live an unforgettable experience in Santorini
The friendly environment and the family atmosphere, promises to make you stay in Santorini, unforgettable experience. The hotel features a swimming pool with pool bar, a snack bar where breakfast is served and other modern facilities.
Size of pool. Plenty of sunbeds. Cheerful and courteous, helpful staff. Breakfast traditional Greek style with hot and cold options. Many repeat customers year on year. Quiet venue up the hill from the beachfront with views across the sea and hills in the background that lead to Ancient Thera and Kamari on the other side. Hotel is excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Marianna and didn't want to leave. The hotel is a nice size, not too big and impersonal and our room was lovely. It's in a nice quiet location but still close to the beach etc and with good views. The pool and its surroundings were good. All the staff were friendly and run the hotel efficiently. We spoke to Tracey the most who was lovely, really helpful with good tips about places to visit etc. We would recommend the hotel to others and would stay again if we were in the area.
-excellent location, near the bus station, beach, shops, restaurants ...
-a varied choice of breakfast, although they could change the type of salami which is the same every day
-great swimming pool and bar
-friendly staff, new towels every day, clean rooms, fridge in the room...
Romani rent a car recommended the place and it was excellent. Very nice and clean. Mariana was very welcome and help us a lot about how to explore the island. Amazing view and really nice pool. Babis helped us also with the transfer to the airport. Highly recommend Romani car rental in Santorini for the excellent service. Thanks, Mariana we will be back for sure.
A lovely family-run hotel. Excellent facilities, including a pool with a bar and lively music. Tasty breakfast with some different local treats daily. Pick up service from the port. Very welcoming staff.
It was an amazing stay. This is a beautiful little hotel. It has a pool and all amenities it listed. The breakfast was a bit boring, but ok. The beach is literally 300m from it, with sunbeds and ambrelas for 10euro. Food at Porto Castello is great, so I suggest that part of the beach. You literally eat at the beach. The owners of the hotel were really nice. Thank you, especially Vasilis who helped us with the luggage and gave us a wonderful room with a pool view. The bathroom was spacious and well ventilated. Aircon worked like a charm, although we didnt need it. Internet in Greece is not great, especially on islands, so be happy with couple of mbs at the hotel. All in all for this high season this hotel is a big plus for budget travelers.
The hotel far exceeded our initially modest expectations about its comfort given its very reasonable pricing.
At check-in the owners offered us fresh water and orange juices, which was nice as were exhausted by a long trip on a ferry and driving from the port. The rooms and their balconies were not too small, well-kept and nicely-colored. The beds were comfortable enough while the bed linen and towels were dry and clean. The air conditioning and the hair dryer worked well. I guess there was a small fridge but we didn’t use it. A few wardrobes and shelves were useful.
The breakfast was diverse enough (even fried eggs with sausages).
There is a nice open air swimming pool, not too small, with a small bar and a view of the sea, but we didn’t use it as a precaution against the coronavirus. The main advantage to us was its proximity (a maximum of ten minutes walk) to the Perissa beach with its beautiful and pleasant black sand. Quite long, it has plenty of both the areas shallow enough for the small children and the ones deep enough for good swimmers. There are many beach sun beds with umbrellas, a bar with cold drinks for acceptable prices, a lifeguard, a few shops selling beach-related items, snacks and refreshing drinks. The water in mid-July was warm enough even at 10:30 in the morning.
The hotel owners do a great job with making guests comfortable while maintaining their reasonable safety protocols for the current health situation.
You should be aware that the place is quite far from the main tourist hotspots of the islands. We rented a car and the hotel has was a spacious parking. It is about 20 minutes drive from the ferry port and the airport, 30 minutes from Thira and 45-50 minutes from Oia. I believe there is a developed bus network, lots of taxis and small car rentals all around, also in five minutes walk down to the beach.
